    In blood malignancies such as AML, ALL, MDS, CMPD, lymphoma, etc., the observation of clonal chromosomal abnormalities in malignant cells serves the following purposes: 1) Classification of hematologic malignancies; 2) Prediction of disease progression based on the cytogenetic evolution of tumor cells; 3) Staging, prognostic factors, treatment strategies, disease monitoring, and treatment efficacy assessment; 4) Tracking bone marrow engraftment and relapse after bone marrow transplantation; and 5) Identifying cancer-related genes and researching the etiology of leukemia.

    Specimen Collection Instructions

    ● Collection Method: Collect bone marrow aseptically, ensuring it remains uncoagulated. Mix it well and transport it immediately to the laboratory. In unavoidable circumstances, maintain refrigerated storage.

    ● Test Request: When submitting the sample for analysis, provide sufficient clinical information, the purpose of the request, and previous results along with the test request form and genetic test consent form. Also, specify the appropriate growth medium selection and analysis method.
