OPEN Healthcare Signs Business Agreement with Maria Medical Foundation and Launches International Collaborative Infertility Clinic
On September 6, 2024, OPEN Healthcare Kazakhstan, LLP (hereinafter referred to as “OHKZ”) and Suji Maria Hospital of Maria Medical Foundation (hereinafter referred to as “Suji Maria Hospital”) held a signing ceremony at the OHKZ clinic in Almaty, Kazakhstan. This agreement aims to establish an international collaboration system to provide the best advanced Korean medical services to the people of Kazakhstan through medical cooperation between South Korea and Kazakhstan.
After the signing ceremony, Dr. Kwang-Mun Yang, the head doctor of Suji Maria specialist at OHKZ Clinic, held a joint infertility treatment session under the slogan “Your hope of becoming a mom is possible with us” for the people of Kazakhstan. The treatment took place over three days, from September 6 to 8, during which 14 couples received accurate diagnoses for their previously unexplained infertility conditions and gained the valuable opportunity to receive personalized treatment.
Oralkyzy Zamira, who participated in the event and received treatment from Dr. Kwang-Mun Yang, shared her thoughts: “I am 36 years old and had previously been diagnosed in Kazakhstan that I would need surgery to remove my ovaries and fallopian tubes to conceive. However, Dr. Yang explained that such surgery was not necessary at all, and that I still have the chance to conceive through IVF treatment. I am sincerely grateful for this meaningful event and for the opportunity to receive treatment.”
Additionally, Dr. Geon-Sang Park, the Chief Medical Officer, said, “We have taken the first step in introducing Korea’s advanced medical technology to Kazakhstan,” and added, “Now OHKZ Clinic can specialize as an infertility clinic.”
