OHKZ Successfully Concludes the 3rd Academic Seminar
OHKZ held the ‘2024 3rd Academic Seminar (Topic: Presentation of Clinical Application Cases through Molecular Diagnostic Tests (PCR) of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and Cervical Cancer (HPV))’ on Thursday, June 27th, at the NOVOTEL HOTEL in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
This seminar was organized to introduce OHKZ and facilitate an exchange between Korean medical companies and clinical specialists in Kazakhstan on the necessity of molecular diagnostic tests for STIs and HPV in clinical practice.
In Academic Seminar Session 1, there was a presentation on the significance of molecular diagnostic tests for Sexually Transmitted Infections and cervical cancer by Director Oh Won-jun of Seegene Inc.. Session 2 featured clinical cases of molecular diagnostic tests for women’s cervical cancer by gynecologist Li Vita Vladimirovna. Session 3 discussed treatment protocols for chronic Sexually Transmitted Infections in clinical practice by local dermatologist and urologist Abeteeva Gulnara Talgatovna. Session 4 included a product launch show for the STI-12 self-test kit by Dmitry Ostroumov of OHKZ.
Following the sessions, there was a Q&A time where free and professional opinions were exchanged to improve patient care services and ensure accurate diagnosis. The seminar was further enriched with the support and collaboration of local entities such as LG Electronics, IU 24 market, and MEDIKER Hospital, enhancing participant satisfaction. OHKZ will continue to hold professional medical seminars to understand customer needs and strengthen cooperation with local medical institutions in Kazakhstan.
