OHKZ Implements mobiCARE™ ECG Analysis Solution
OPEN Healthcare Kazakhstan (OHKZ) signed a service supply contract with Seers Technology for the mobiCARE™ solution on July 17, 2024. Seers Technology is a digital healthcare company specializing in remote medical solutions based on wearable medical devices and AI technology for early screening and patient monitoring of heart disease. They provide an analysis solution using a small and lightweight wearable ECG patch that can continuously measure ECG for up to 9 days. This solution applies AI ECG analysis technology, which has been refined through numerous clinical studies, to provide information on 14 types of arrhythmias and heart rate.
In Kazakhstan, cardiovascular disease accounts for 30% of major causes of death, creating a high demand for early prevention and diagnosis of heart disease (based on WHO health statistics by country, as of 2019). In response, OHKZ plans to introduce the mobiCARE™ solution, which applies a wearable electrocardiograph and ECG analysis AI algorithm, to offer specialized treatment and services related to heart disease.
In the future, clinics and healthcare centers will be able to prescribe small wearable ECG patches to outpatients after consultation. Once patients wear the small, convenient ECG patches with minimal discomfort, they can measure ECG over a long period, providing reliable data for diagnosis. This enables high-quality consultations and treatment, helping prevent severe diseases at an early stage.
Moreover, in the future, patients will be able to purchase and receive the patches directly, attach it by themselves, and return the device after measurement and analysis are completed. Once the patch device is retrieved, an analysis report combining AI algorithm-learned ECG data and expert analysis will be provided. If heart disease symptoms appear, patients can receive professional treatment and prescriptions from OHKZ clinics, helping prevent the progression to severe disease early on.
Through the introduction of the mobiCARE™ solution, OHKZ will strive to improve healthcare accessibility in Kazakhstan and contribute to the health improvement of the people in Kazakhstan.
